“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do,but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.”
Heb. 10:25 (NLT)

Why do Connect groups exist?

Connect groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us.  They are a place to SHARE, SERVE, AND GROW.  Sharing life through community is part of our design to mature and become disciplined and devoted to Christ.  That’s why connect groups exist.

What Are Connect Groups?

A connect group is an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis.

Real life change happens in the context of relationships – through small groups.  In the Bible, they worshiped in the temple but personal ministry happened house to house.  Acts 20:30, ‘You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.” Acts 20:20

Connect Groups meet on a variety of different days and times in order to accommodate every type of schedule. Most groups run for 8 weeks.

Why Should I Join A Connect Group?

It is through doing life together that God uses others to bring healing, support and encouragement to our lives — Connect Groups are also where we pray, care for one another, and missed it we do not show up!

Will Butler gives a testimony about witnessing and the peace it brought to an inner-city bus terminal.

Ella Studer gives a testimony of prayer causing peace at a nursing home her Connect Group ministers at.

Carolyn and Gloria give a praise report about a man they prayed for in the neighborhood who was healed.

Leading a connect group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Hosting a group is simple—choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We give you essential tools to make your connect group successful through Leadership Training and a directory where you can register your group so others can find it easily. We believe people’s lives are changed one semester at a time by moving one step toward Christ, and as a connect group leader you get to play an important role in that process.
